KEY PRESS COVERAGE FOR
VIRGIN AUSTRALIA VELOCITY FREQUENT FLYER EIFFEL TOWER
June 2013 - Two Week Build
Celebrating Australians' passion for travel, Virgin Australia's Velocity Frequent Flyer Program engaged Bryan Berg to build the nation's favorite cultural landmark entirely out of freestanding Visa travel money cards. The Eiffel Tower topped the list as the cultural landmark Australians would most like to visit. Berg constructed a 13-foot replica of the Parisian landmark live at Westfield Pitt Street mall in Sydney, his first-ever project on the continent. The structure took more than 120 hours to complete—the equivalent of flying to Paris and back 5 times! Berg's most difficult challenge to date, the tower weighed over 235 pounds, strong enough to support 420 French baguettes.
